Overview

angad.swiss ("we", "this website") is operated by Angad Manik, based in Basel, Switzerland. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we handle it.

What We Collect

Anonymous Analytics (with your consent)

If you accept analytics cookies, we collect:

  • Pages visited and time of visit
  • Click positions on the page (as percentages, not pixel coordinates)
  • Scroll depth (how far down the page you scroll)
  • Browser type and language setting
  • Screen/viewport dimensions
  • Referring website (how you got here)

This data is fully anonymous. We do not collect your name, email, IP address, or any information that could identify you personally. Each browser tab gets a random session ID that is not stored or linked across visits.

Contact & Assessment Forms

If you submit a contact form or take the AI Readiness Assessment, we collect the information you voluntarily provide (name, email, responses). This is stored in our Supabase database hosted in the EU.

How We Use This Data

  • Analytics: To understand which content is useful, where visitors get stuck, and how to improve the site.
  • Contact data: To respond to your inquiry or deliver assessment results.

We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to third parties. We do not use advertising networks or third-party tracking tools.

Where Your Data Is Stored

All data is stored in Supabase (database hosted in the EU). We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other third-party analytics service. The website itself is hosted on Vercel.

Cookies & Local Storage

We use one item in localStorage: your cookie consent preference (cookie_consent). This records whether you accepted or declined analytics. No other cookies or local storage are used by us.

Third-party fonts from Google Fonts are loaded, which may set their own cookies. We preconnect to fonts.googleapis.com for performance.

Your Rights

Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:

  • Decline analytics — click "Decline" on the cookie banner, or change your preference anytime via "Cookie Settings" in the footer.
  • Request your data — since analytics are anonymous, there is no personal data to retrieve. For contact form submissions, email us.
  • Request deletion — contact us to have any personally submitted data removed.
